Established in April of 2000, Newpalm is a leading short message service (SMS) in China with offices in Beijing, Tianjing and Nanjing. We have presence in 30 local markets and currently have service agreements signed with mobile network operators China Mobile and China Unicom in these markets.
Newpalm services all of Mainland China providing cutting-edge SMS, MMS, WAP, J2ME, and BREW based products. Newpalm is able to offer China’s 240 million mobile users a full range of innovative and exciting value-added mobile products and services.

With capital from reputable overseas institutional investors, Newpalm’s founders were able to start an innovative company with an energetic management team made up of telecom industry veterans. The core management team possesses an abundance of domestic telecom experience. In addition to the management, the company has over 200 dedicated employees, with over 50% working in research and development.
During March of 2003, Newpalm was acquired by Hongkong.com (www.hongkong.com), the leading Asian Internet media, communications and interactive services company and an 81%-owned subsidiary of chinadotcom corporation a NASDAQ listed company (www.china.com).
